My puppy nephew is sleeping on my lap as I type. It has been a very busy weekend. Most of Saturday was spent traveling to my hometown, Kennebunk, Maine. The past 24 hours have been spent hanging out with Milo and preparing for the Christmas Eve party my parents host every year.

This morning we went to Standard Bakery in Portland, Maine to pick up a few things. I was excited to check out the bakery since I love their cookbook but had never been.
Then we had brunch at the Portland Harbor Inn.
Tonight was spent baking cookies for the party. I decided to make moose and lobster cookies in addition to the snowmen and Christmas trees.
Tomorrow I will be spending a big chunk of my day decorating cookies!
