This easy recipe for classic artichoke dip is a staple at holiday gatherings at my parents' house. And it's so delicious that it is positively addictive. It's creamy and cheesy and loaded with chunks of tender artichokes, with just the slightest hint of spice.

I have been making this recipe for years and I love that it just takes minutes to mix together and it only requires a few ingredients - most of which I have in my fridge already.

The active preparation time for this recipe is just 5 minutes, and the bake time is only 40 minutes. It's a perfect addition to your holiday party menu - it's a hot and satisfying snack that will warm up your party guests from the cold. You can serve it along with store-bought appetizers like shrimp cocktail, hummus, and a cheese platter.

Serve this dip with sliced bread, pita chips, or crackers. I especially love it with garlic pita chips. Feel free to make this recipe your own. Use half goat cheese and half Parmesan. Add mustard instead of hot sauce. Bake it in a disposable aluminum pan and bring it to a party. Add leftover artichoke to a sandwich - or an omelet. You can throw some spinach in the dip if you want - you can use either thawed frozen spinach with the excess water squeezed out or chopped fresh spinach. The options are endless.
