Sparkling Lemonade with Blackberries

Sharing is caring!

Did you know that today is National Lemonade Day?! It is such a fitting food holiday for the end of summer. To celebrate, I have teamed up with Equal to share this recipe for Sparkling Lemonade with Blackberries. It is the perfect balance of sweet and tart with a bit of effervescence. I am convinced that bubbly drinks are just more fun.

This is an easy variation on a traditional lemonade recipe that replaces tap water for sparkling water, and adds frozen blackberries. The frozen blackberries in this lemonade serve two purposes. At first they act as a garnish that keeps the lemonade cool, but as they slowly thaw, their juice adds flavor to the lemonade. Charles said that the blackberry flavor was his favorite thing about the drink. The color contrast of the lemons and blackberries makes for a pretty presentation too.

Lemonade is one of those things that everyone loves. It’s perfect for parties, and a great refreshing drink to help you cool down on a hot summer day. When I am entertaining, I like to serve lemonade in mason jars with large square ice cubes, slices of lemon, and paper straws. This recipe is a perfect non-alcoholic option to serve at a summertime gathering.

Before we get to the recipe, I have a giveaway for you! See all the details and enter below!
