Today I am partnering with Harry & David to introduce you to the new Harry & David Gourmet collection.
Does anyone else remember their family getting Harry & David gift baskets around the holiday season? My Dad always got a few each Christmas, and I vividly remember eagerly opening the packages to see what was inside. I am excited to be partnering with Harry & David to introduce you to the new Harry & David Gourmet collection. The same brand that I have known and loved for years has 22 new offerings, just in time for this holiday season.
The Harry & David Gourmet collection features carefully curated appetizers, entrees, desserts, and wines perfect for people who love to entertain. These ready-to-serve items can be served at parties or enjoyed anytime. They can turn any day into a celebration, and they can turn a rainy Sunday into a girls night to remember.
I served four different Harry & David Gourmet offerings at a recent girls night. The combination of the Artisan Appetizers Tray with Wine, the Brunch Bites Appetizer Trio, Bakery Sweets, and a Cheesecake Party Wheelwas fitting for a night of eating, sipping wine, and catching up.
Some of the food, like the wine, cheese, and desserts just need to be set out on the table and served. The hot food heated up in the oven quickly and filled my home with a mouthwatering toasty cheese scent!
The Artisan Appetizers with Wine included cheeses, crackers, salami, mixed nuts, black olive spread, sea salt caramels, a bottle of Harry & David Pinot Noir, and a bottle of Harry & David Chardonnay in a cork tray.
The cheeses were delicious. I like blue cheese, but usually a little taste is enough. I could not stop eating the Rogue Creamery Oregonzola Blue cheese. It was milder than other blue cheeses, and when paired with the olive oil and sea salt crackers and a sip of Pinot Noir it became irresistible.
The Brunch Bites Appetizer Trio can be served at any occasion – not just brunch. It comes with three-cheese, mushroom, and red pepper mini quiches, crispy cheesy asparagus in fillo, and lemon coconut cheesecakes. The quiches and the asparagus fillo are ready to serve after less than 20 minutes in the oven. The cheesecake just needs to thaw!
The Bakery Sweets is a box filled with a mix of cookies and cookies bars. It’s only $29.99 making it an affordable hostess gift or treat to serve at your own gathering. The mix of sweet treats is sure to please any crowd.
I can’t resist a cheesecake wheel. I am one of those people can never decide which flavor of cheesecake to order. The cheesecake wheels solves that problem, and includes raspberry swirl, chocolate caramel, triple chocolate, and strawberry cheesecake slices.
My friends had no idea that I didn’t make everything myself, and the Harry & David products let me host an elegant gathering with ease. I loved getting to spend a fun night with friends without having to spend hours in the kitchen cooking. I was able to relax more and actually enjoy the time with my friends. Less time in the kitchen means less stress and more fun.
I love the idea of sending these gourmet offerings as a hostess gift in advance of a party. There is a wide variety of items to choose from, and each of the items we tried tasted homemade. This is a thoughtful gift – or hostess gift – that actually helps out the party host/hostess. And a gift that reduces their workload basically guarantees that you will be invited back.
The prepared dinners, like Chicken Pot Pies, Lobster Corn Chowder and Bread Bowls, and Honey Orange Duck Breasts would be a thoughtful gift for new parents who don’t have time to cook dinner.
If you want to make Thanksgiving easier, you can order side dishes like Three-Cheese Scalloped Potatoes, Parmesan Creamed Spinach, Cauliflower Au Gratin, Apple Sausage Stuffing and Sundried Tomato Truffle Mac ‘n’ Cheese. A cheesecake wheel would be great for Thanksgiving too!
Harry & David Gourmet Collection is home to over 200 premium products, so there is something for everyone. Products range in price from $10 – $400 so you can find something fitting the occasion and your budget.
