LemonsHave you ever had this problem? Recently our kitchen started smelling funky (and not in a good way) and we realized the odor was coming from our sink disposal. Fortunately, this is an easy problem to solve. Just take 2 wedges of lemon, shove them down the drain, turn the water on, and then turn the disposal on. You will hear the disposal shredding the lemons. Once the shredding sound subsides, turn the disposal and the water off. Your kitchen will temporarily smell like lemons, which is a huge improvement. It has been several days and the smell (thankfully) hasn't returned.
