Things I am Thankful For!

Sharing is caring!

Good things have been happening this year. I am so lucky to have amazingly supportive friends and family, and such wonderful people who read this site.

In celebrate Thanksgiving, let’s take a look back at some of the things I am thankful for this year:

WCBCers
All my Windy City Blogger Collective Members! Running the Windy City Blogger Collective is something I am incredibly passionate about, and I love seeing how kind and supportive our members are towards one another. It fills my heart with happiness. Erin and I have some major things planned for 2016, and I am so excited!

Charles!
Charles! My husband was incredibly supportive as I made the transition to working for myself. He patiently waits as every meal we eat is photographed and is a willing hand model and taste tester. This blog was his idea, so at this point I owe my career to him.

Erin
Erin is my other life partner/work wife who runs WCBC with me. She can 100% read my mind. Yesterday I thought, “Mmmaaaybe we should order some chocolate chip cookies.” The second that popped into my head she said, “Let’s get some cookies.” That’s a silly example, but trust me, which skill comes in so handy when you are running a business with someone. Erin is smart, hard working, far better at finances, and a perfect match for me. We promise to bring you more episodes of Erin Ate It soon!

My Blogger Babes
These impossibly beautiful ladies are the loveliest friends that a girl could ask for. They are generous with their time and knowledge and they know how to have fun! They make my life so much better in so many ways.

Working for Myself
Every single day I am thankful that I work for myself. Groupon was soul crushing. I don’t think I realized how much I hated it until I left. If you are miserable at a job, find a way out. I took a chance, and it worked out. Ironically, Ariana Huffington gave a lecture at Groupon where she dished out the advice “Live life like it is rigged in your favor.” It was the last little push I needed to leave.

And most importantly, the Graham Fam
This crew cracks me up. I am so thankful that we are all together for Thanksgiving this year. Fun fact: since my brother and I both chose partners from other countries, we have never missed a Graham Thanksgiving!

Also – while I hide in my room finishing this post, by brother and husband are having a very long in depth conversation about their favorite cheeses, and I think it is the cutest thing ever.
