My Morning Routine featuring Naked Juice's Kale Blazer

Kale Blazer-4

I have never been a morning person, but lately I have been trying to get my act together and make the most out of mornings. Last month I started a new morning routine of working out before I start my work day. But I am still not a morning person... the whole going to bed before midnight thing doesn't really work for me, which means I am always racing out the door to get to my barre class on time. This is where Naked Juice's Kale Blazer comes into play.

Kale Blazer

I would never have the time to actually blend up a juice for breakfast - I barely have time to even have breakfast. Drinking Kale Blazer on the walk to the gym had become part of my routine. I get something in my belly, and it's loaded with fruits and vegetables. Kale Blazer is made with a blend of with a blend of kale, spinach, cucumber, orange, apple, and celery and seasoned with a pinch of ginger and lemon. The cucumber gives the juice a refreshing taste that balances out the kale and spinach. The other flavor that is distinctive is the apple, perhaps not what you would expect from a green juice.

Kale Blazer is 100% juice and doesn't have any added sugars, it's slight sweetness comes from the orange and apple juices. It's a quick and effortless way of incorporating fruits and veggies into my day - and loading up on fruits and veggies has been a key part of my diet.

Yesterday I really had my act together (sometimes I surprise myself) and I had my juice as part of my breakfast, and I stayed full for hours. Maybe breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.

  • Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are a weekend brunch that will make a lazy Saturday morning feel special. The ricotta gives the pancakes a light, almost spongy texture. The ricotta flavor is mild, while the bold taste of lemon takes center stage.
