Greetings from San Diego

Published: May 25, 2013 · Modified: Jun 21, 2018 by Kit · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

I hope everyone is having a great start to the holiday weekend. I spent yesterday in San Diego, and then went to Mexico with some close friends who live there. Here is an update on what I have been eating.

Some might think that spending $18 on Mexican food at the airport when you are going to Mexico is silly. I live by a strict "eat Frontera at any opportunity rule". It's just that good. I will also have it for dinner when I return to the airport on Monday.

I had chips, guacamole, the Milanesa torta and an iced tea.

Once I arrived in San Diego it was time for tacos.

I had carne asada tacos which were great.

We also had fried jalapeños which were delicious!

This mini vacation is off to a great start.
