Everyone loves brownies. I think it is a scientific fact. Over the weekend I had a few parties to attend so I decided to experiment with different types of brownies. I bought Duncan Hines Fudge Brownie Mix, and then added ingredients to the middle of the brownies to make Andes Candies Brownies, Milk Chocolate Marshmallow, and Caramel Marshmallow Brownies. The caramel marshmallow brownies were my favorite. I used Ghirardelli Milk & Caramel Squares, which is my preferred way of preparing S’mores. Ghirardelli makes many different varieties of chocolate squares, and any of them would be great in brownies.
This is an easy and inexpensive short cut that will impress people. The total preparation time is only about 10 minutes, and the bake time is another 30 minutes or so depending on the size of the pan. I baked the brownies in aluminum pans so they were ready to bring to the parties.
