I had another incredibly busy weekend that involved lots of food, friends and blogging. We kicked things off on Friday night with Sangria at Quartinos.
Then on Saturday we headed to Nellcote for brunch. I love their shared charcuterie plates.
Then I had eggs in cocotte.
After brunch I met up with some blogging friends Lindsay, Lauren, Laurie, Nicole, Ashley and Erin for a clothing swap. Lindsay hosted and made some lovely quiches.
We all brought 10 articles of clothing, shoes, bags or accessories that we no longer wear and traded.
Five bags of clothing that no one needed went to charity. It was a great way to clean out our closets and do some good.
It was a gorgeous fall day in Chicago.
I made Steak and Potatoes for dinner.
Saturday night we hit up Untitled, a very fun speakeasy themed bar.
On Sunday morning I went to a brunch for bloggers at Sprout. I started with a champagne cocktail.
And then moved on to the savory bread pudding.
We finished things off with Parsnip Milkshakes.
And I met a bunch of new food blogging friends, including Candyce from Chatchow, Tommy from Table For One, Please!, Starr from Chicago Foodie Girl, Veronica from A Cook’s Canvas, and the ladies behind Bunny and Brandy.
Then it was time to do some life maintenance, so I reorganized my books.
As always, the weekend ended with Sunday Night Dinner. I made a Caprese Salad with Arugula and Prosciutto. (Recipe to come)
It was a fantastic weekend. I hope you had a great one too!

You did more awesome food/Chicago related things in one weekend than I've done in the last month! Looks like a blast :)
