This Apple Moscow Mule Mocktail is both a tongue twister and a fitting drink to serve at Thanksgiving or any fall get together. You can serve it as a mocktail, or you can easily turn it into a cocktail by adding some vodka. This is a drink that will please all your party guests.
I love the contrast between the flavors of the sweet apple juice and the bold and slightly sharp ginger. A dash of nutmeg and cinnamon really pump up the fall flavors in this drink.
I am at that age where so many of my friends are having babies that I want to be accommodating and serve a fun mocktail at parties. I love mocktails because anyone can drink them, and it gives your party guests the opportunity to add their favorite alcohol, and to make the drink just as strong (or weak) as they like it.
Moscow Mules have been all the rage at bars for the past few years, and it is easy to add a variety of flavors to a Moscow Mule. I think that a Moscow Mule translates to Thanksgiving very well since the ginger beer tastes like fall to me and it pairs so well with apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg!
An Apple Moscow Mule takes just a minute to mix together. I start by adding a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg to a glass. Then I add ice, ginger beer, and apple juice and gently stir. I finish the drink off with a slice of apple and a cinnamon stick. A paper straw is the final – environmentally friendly – touch.

The gold rimmed glasses are from World Market, my go-to destination for tableware. They didn’t sponsor this post, I just really love how affordable and pretty their products are. The touch of gold on the glasses really helped to pull the table setting together!
