Healthy eating and a busy lifestyle have a tendency to clash. My new favorite way to save time and to eat fresh healthy food is my Door to Door Organics subscription. It saves me a trip to the store and brings fruits, vegetables, and other essentials straight to my doorstep each week. Just check out the huge haul from Monday's box! The combination of fruits and vegetables have been a big source of inspiration for my recipes.

This week I made a fun fall salad with some of the fruits and vegetables from my recent Door to Door Organics deliveries. I tore up a mix of kale and lettuce, topped it with pomegranate seeds, sliced celery, goat cheese, and red pear. Then I squeezed some lemon on top, and drizzled some olive oil and balsamic vinegar over. It was a simple, no cooking required meal. I loved how the fresh pomegranate seeds, lemon juice, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar blended together creating a dressing.

Door to Door Organics presents subscribers with several options. You can select one of 4 box sizes - the smallest is just right for our family of 2, and you can select if you want fruits, vegetables, or a combination in the box. Prices range from $24.99 to $59.99. Each Friday you can review the items automatically selected for you, and swap out any selections you want. I'm not very picky when it comes to fruits and veggies, so I tend to just let Door to Door Organics fill the box for me. I think it's a fun surprise to see what I get.  If you don't need a delivery, you can click a button to skip a delivery. It's so user friendly.

My favorite part of the Door to Door Organics experience is that you can add additional items to your order. They have milk, cheeses, meats, and some pantry items. It's really helpful for people like me who don't have a car.
