This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Albertsons Companies. The opinions and text are all mine.

In honor of National Ice Cream Month, I teamed up with Open Nature® Scandal-less Light Ice Cream to create an ice cream dessert board, it’s a dessert that your friends and family will love.

Learn how to make an ice cream dessert board with Open Nature® Scandal-less Light Ice Cream! It’s so easy and fun to create! I love the idea of serving this when you are watching a movie or television show with friends - everyone can grab a bowl and create their own personalized dessert that is perfect for them.

I took the concept of a charcuterie board and created a dessert board! It’s so easy and fun to create! I love the idea of serving this when you are watching a movie or television show with friends - everyone can grab a bowl and create their own personalized dessert that is perfect for them.

Ice Cream Dessert Board

An ice cream dessert board is great for summer since you can incorporate seasonal fruit, plus it is a dessert that you can serve without needing to turn your oven on.

I served the ice cream along with fruit, nuts, granola, dark chocolate bark, and some chocolate and caramel sauces. I wanted to give guests an option to create a less indulgent dessert with berries and granola. I served five flavors of Open Nature Scandal-less Light Ice Cream: Sea Salt Caramel, Peanut Butter Cup, Vanilla, Mint Chip, and Cookie Dough.

My favorite flavors are the Sea Salt Caramel and the Cookie Dough. Not only does the brand have a fantastic assortment of delicious flavors, but it is also a better for you ice cream! It is made ith without artificial colors and flavors. Plus, it has 40-50% less fat than regular ice cream and is low in calories and high in protein. It has the same creamy ice cream taste, but it is a guilt-free indulgence! Each full pint has just 240-370 calories.

If you are having guests over, I recommend arranging everything on the board in advance, and then just adding the ice cream when it is time for dessert. The entire process takes just minutes.

It’s fun to see the different ways people top their ice cream. I like Cookie Dough with chocolate sauce, marshmallow rice treats, and a cherry on top.

Charles likes Peanut Butter Cup with caramel, bananas, and granola.

I shopped Open Nature® at my local Jewel-Osco, but you can find these exclusive products at all Albertsons Companies family of stores, including Albertsons, Safeway, ACME Markets, Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Star Market, United Supermarkets and Carrs/Safeway.

You can save $1.00 with your purchase of participating O Organics and Open Nature ice cream products by using the promo code ICECREAM when you shop online.

What do you think of this idea? I think it is a way to turn a night at home into something special.
