Three Dots and a Dash Mug Giveaway

Three Dots and a Dash is one of my favorite places to go to for cocktails – it’s also been named one of the 50 best bars in the world. The tiki themed cocktail bar is hidden away under Bub City and the entrance is through an alley. When you go down the stairs – past a wall of skulls – you feel like you have been let in on a secret.

Another thing that I love about Three Dots is that is always feels like summertime there. When you sit at the bar under the grass awning sipping a drink with flowers and an umbrella it just doesn’t feel like winter anymore. (If you don’t believe me, visit Three Dots in February).

One thing that makes Three Dots and a Dash stand out from other bars is their custom tiki mugs. Each drink comes in a different mug, and they all have elaborate garnishes. My favorite garnish is the banana dolphin that decorates Bunny’s Banana Daiquiri. The cocktail menu features a combination of classic tiki drinks, listed along with the bar where they were invented the year, along with modern tiki cocktails. Bunny’s Banana Daiquiri is an example of a drink that was created at Three Dots.

Yesterday Three Dots and a Dash started selling their custom mugs through their website. Most mugs are between $20-$30 making them a fun and affordable gift for people who love tropical drinks.

This intricate and massive Limited Edition Sea Horse Mug is $100. It is used to serve the Aku Aku Lapu, one of the large format drinks at Three Dots.

To celebrate the launch of Three Dots and a Dash’s e-commerce site – I am giving away a pair of the Sea Urchin Mugs! The Sea Urchin mugs are used to serve Three Dots and a Dash’s namesake cocktail, which is made with Aged Rhum Agricole, Guyanese Rum, Honey, Falernum, Lime, Allspice, and Angostura Bitters.
