Ingredients

  • You will need:
  • 1 lb Ground Sirloin
  • 1 lb fresh Tomatoes
  • 1 15 ounce can of Crushed Tomatoes (I used Red Gold)
  • 3 ounces of Goat Cheese
  • 1 lb Pasta
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Chop the tomatoes.
  • Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef. Brown the beef while using a wooden spoon to break it up into small pieces. Season the beef with about ¼ teaspoon of salt and pepper.
  • Once the beef has browned, add the chopped tomatoes. Let simmer and reduce over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. The chopped tomatoes help to thicken the sauce.
  • Cook the pasta until al dente. Add the goat cheese to the sauce. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
  • Drain the pasta and serve it with a generous amount of sauce.
