Ingredients
You will need:
1lbGround Sirloin
1lbfresh Tomatoes
115 ounce can of Crushed Tomatoes (I used Red Gold)
3ouncesof Goat Cheese
1lbPasta
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
Chop the tomatoes.
Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef. Brown the beef while using a wooden spoon to break it up into small pieces. Season the beef with about ¼ teaspoon of salt and pepper.
Once the beef has browned, add the chopped tomatoes. Let simmer and reduce over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the chopped tomatoes. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. The chopped tomatoes help to thicken the sauce.
Cook the pasta until al dente. Add the goat cheese to the sauce. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
Drain the pasta and serve it with a generous amount of sauce.
