Sirloin Steak Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Sirloin Steak
  • 1 tsp. Butter
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Ground Pepper
  • 2 cups Spinach
  • 1 tbsp. Blue Cheese
  • 1 tbsp. Chopped Walnuts
  • ½ cup sliced Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • Your favorite Salad Dressing

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel. Season the steak with the salt and pepper, and rub it into the beef.
  2. Melt the half of butter in a pan over medium heat. Place the steak in a hot pan and cook for 2 minutes, then rotate 90 degrees and cook another 2 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining butter to the pan, and flip the steak and cook for 2 minutes, rotate 90 degrees and cook for 2 minutes. Remove the steak from the pan, and let it rest for 5 minutes. It should be a perfect medium rare.
  4. While the steak rests, assemble the salad. Place the spinach in a bowl and top with the blue cheese, walnuts, tomatoes, and dressing.
  5. Thinly slice the steak and arrange it over the salad.
