Easy Cheddar and Green Onion Biscuits: these cheesy buttery biscuits can be made with 20 minutes of active prep time.

The Process: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and butter to create the basic dough. Add cheese and chopped green onion.

The Process: Add milk and buttermilk. Cover the dough and let it sit for 30 minutes before rolling out the dough and cutting the biscuits.

Don't worry if you don't own a biscuit cutter. You can simply roll out the dough and slice it into square instead.

The Process: Bake for 12 minutes, then remove from the oven. Brush the tops of the biscuits with butter and top with more cheese.

The Process: Return to the oven and bake for an additional 3 minutes. If needed,  broil the biscuits to brown the tops.

The Final Product: These  flaky biscuits are buttery and cheesy. The green onions add a fresh flavor. Eat on their own or use in a recipe.

Ways to Serve: Use the biscuits to make an exceptional breakfast sandwich! Add bacon, egg, cheese, and avocado.

Ways to Serve: Or, top a casserole like this creamy ranch chicken casserole, with raw biscuits prior to baking!
