Sparkling Cranberry Ginger Cocktails - via The Kittchen (vert)

Need a cocktail to make through the week? You aren't the only one. (It is just me, or did Christmas totally sneak up on us this year?!) Lucky for you, I have a delicious Sparkling Cranberry Cocktail to share with you! This is the perfect drink to serve at a holiday party. It's simple to prepare, requires few ingredients, and the fact it is sparkling makes it even more festive. Plus anything with ginger beer in it is on trend right now.

Cranberry Ginger Cocktail

This recipe was created by my friends over at Trenchermen, and it was the cocktail special on the night of my burger special. They called it Winter Is Coming, which was fitting considering the fact it was early November and the weather had just turned cold. I thought I should re-name the cocktail so you would understand what it tastes like. Another change is that I assumed you don't have homemade rosemary simple syrup, so instead I combine the vodka, simple syrup, cranberry juice, and some rosemary in a shaker to infuse the rosemary flavor.

This recipe makes a single cocktail, which of course you can multiply to suit your needs.

Prep Time: 5 minutes minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces Vodka
  • .5 Simple Syrup
  • .5 Cranberry Juice
  • 1 sprig of Rosemary
  • 3 ounces Ginger Beer

Instructions

  • Snap the sprig of rosemary in half. Set half aside to use a garnish, and place the other half in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Pour the vodka, simple syrup, and cranberry juice over. Put the lid on the shaker and shake to combine the ingredients.
  • Pour the vodka and juice mixture through a strainer and into a glass of ice. Add the ginger beer and add the half sprig of rosemary to garnish.
  • If you are serving this at a party, you could combine the vodka, simple syrup, cranberry juice, and rosemary in advance and just add the ginger beer before serving.
