Chicagoans, have you been to a Macy’s Culinary Council event yet? These events featuring some of the nation’s top chefs are so much fun! And to celebrate 125 years of the Walnut Room, Macy’s gorgeous 7th floor restaurant at their State Street location, Macy’s Culinary Council is bringing Cat Cora, Tom Douglas, Johnny Iuzzini and Takashi Yagihashi together for an all-star tasting party.

To get entry into this incredible event, just spend $100 on home goods at Macy’s at State street between May 9th and 16th, and you will receive 2 tickets. An easy task considering the vast selection of products at Macy’s. Need a little shopping inspiration? How about this slow cooker? And I can personally recommend this KitchenAid Toaster and Blender, which I have at home and love. Plus, you can get 25% off your purchase on May 16th by donating $3 to Got Your Six, a coalition of veteran-focused non-profits.

This Celebration of 125 Years in the Food Service at Macy’s is an event you will not want to miss. It incorporates live music, food samples, and a photo booth in the gorgeous Walnut Room. I hope to see you there!
