Grilled Brie

Sharing is caring!

Grilled Brie-4Grilled Brie is the easiest appetizer recipe to make! It is just what you are thinking, it’s brie that is heated on a grill pan and then served with jam on top. Warm melty brie is just so much better than cold brie, and it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. It’s a great way to elevate your next cheese plate, and impress your dinner guests.

You can serve your grilled brie with any jam you like. I chose a fig jam and loved the flavor pairing of brie and figs, it’s rich and elegant. If you want something a bit fruitier, you could use raspberry jam, or if you want something with a kick of spice you could use red pepper jelly.

I served the grilled brie with fresh slices of French Bread. The bread is sturdy enough to hold up to having the cheese spread on it – crackers would be likely to break apart.

It is really important that you use a fresh wheel of brie. You need brie that is 100% covered in rind. Otherwise, the cheese will ooze out into a mess when you grill it. Since this appetizer only takes a few minutes to prepare, and I recommend doing it as soon as guests arrive so that the brie is hot.
