French 75 Punch

Sharing is caring!

Champagne cocktails are my favorite, so I made French 75 Punch at my most recent gathering.

The French 75 is a classic cocktail that was invented in Paris in 1915, reaching popularity in the 1920s. Instead of mixing up individual cocktails, I made a punch which was a fun way to modernize a classic cocktail with the current punch trend.

I also swapped out champagne for prosecco (since’s it is less expensive), and reduced the amount of simple sugar to account for the fact that prosecco is sweeter.

Foxtrot delivered all of the ingredients to my doorstep, giving me a big chunk of time during a week I really needed it. I used the mobile app to place my order and was thrilled that my order arrived in well under one hour.

This is going to be a game changer once winter comes and I don’t want to go outside. If you don’t already have the Foxtrot app, you can download it here. The user friendly app puts you just a few clicks away from anything you could possibly need for your bar, plus a wide variety of snacks, and life essentials. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty the products I ordered were. It made me wish I had a bar cart to display everything. Koval, a Chicago based gin company, has especially stunning labeling.

Since the preparation of this cocktail is so simple, you can mix it up as soon as your guests arrive, that way the prosecco will not loose it’s effervescence.
